Privacy policy

What data PokemonPasha collects, how advertising and analytics cookies are used, and how to exercise your privacy rights under GDPR and US state law.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

PokemonPasha ("we", "the site") is an independent Pokemon news site. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit, who else can collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect ourselves

The site is a set of static pages. We do not run accounts, logins, comments, newsletters or contact forms, and we do not ask you for your name, email address or any other personal detail.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested page, timestamp — as an ordinary part of serving a web page. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.

We store one item in your browser's local storage: your cookie consent choice, so we do not ask again on every page. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. When advertising is active, third-party advertising partners — including Google AdSense — may place cookies or read device identifiers in order to serve and measure ads.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website. We have no access to, and no control over, the cookies set by these partners.

Analytics

Where analytics are enabled, they are used to count page views and understand which stories are read — not to build profiles of individuals. Any analytics provider used is listed here when active.

Children

This site covers a franchise with a young audience, so we are explicit about this: PokemonPasha is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Where required, advertising on pages likely to attract a child audience is served in non-personalised mode.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Where we rely on consent — for advertising and analytics cookies — you may withdraw it at any time by clearing your site data and declining on the consent banner.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA), or another US state with equivalent law: you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Serving personalised advertising may constitute "sharing" under these laws. To opt out, decline non-essential cookies on the consent banner, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour GPC signals.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Data retention

We hold no personal data ourselves beyond hosting logs, which are retained by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule. Cookies placed by advertising partners are governed by those partners' policies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
