Editorial policy
How PokemonPasha sources, verifies, labels and corrects its coverage, and how automation is used in producing it.
This page describes how PokemonPasha is produced. It is deliberately specific, because "we value accuracy" is not a policy.
Sourcing
We publish from a fixed whitelist of established outlets and official channels. A source enters the whitelist only if it has a track record of accurate Pokemon reporting or is an official channel of Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokemon Company.
We do not collect from sites that block automated access. If a site's terms or technical controls say no, the answer is no, and we link to them instead.
Attribution
Every article names its sources and links to them. Where an outlet broke a story, we say which outlet, in the body text and again in the sources list at the foot of the article.
We summarise and add context. We do not reproduce other outlets' article text, and we do not use their images.
Verification and labelling
Facts are reported at the confidence level we actually have:
- Confirmed — announced by an official channel, or reported by a whitelisted outlet, and attributed as such
- Reported — a single outlet's claim, named in the text
- Unconfirmed / rumour — labelled explicitly, every time
Prices from third-party retail listings are treated as guesses until an official price is published. Pre-order dates are never presented as release dates.
Use of automation
This site uses automation in two places, and we would rather state it than have you find out:
- Collection. A scheduled script fetches headlines from the source whitelist, removes duplicates and queues them.
- Drafting. An AI assistant drafts article copy from that queue, working only from the fetched material, under the rules on this page.
Every published article is written for this site rather than rewritten from a source, cites its sources, and is subject to editorial review and correction. Automation sets the pace of publishing; it does not lower the standard of what is published. We do not mass-produce pages to farm search traffic.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we fix it and say so. Corrections are made in the article body, and the article's updated date changes.
To report an error, write to pavpog7@gmail.com or see the contact page. Corrections requests from the outlets we cite are always acted on.
Advertising and independence
The site carries advertising, which pays for hosting and time. Advertisers see no coverage in advance and have no influence over it. Sponsored or affiliate content, if it ever appears, is labelled on the page.
Trademarks and fan status
PokemonPasha is an independent fan-run site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokemon Company. Pokemon and all related names, characters and marks belong to their respective owners and are referenced here for the purpose of news reporting and commentary.
We do not host official artwork, screenshots, card images or video. Where a story is about a visual reveal, we link to the official source rather than reproducing it.
