Delta Reign is out November 6, with prereleases from October 24
The English version of Storm Emeralda has been fully revealed. Delta Reign is led by Mega Rayquaza ex, and prerelease events run October 24 to November 1.

Delta Reign is now fully revealed. It is the next English Pokemon Trading Card Game set, it comes out on November 6, 2026, and Mega Rayquaza ex is on the front of it. PokeBeach has the complete product list and the dates that go with it.
The number that was missing until now is the prerelease window. Prerelease events run from October 24 to November 1, which is the fortnight before the set reaches shops.
Prereleases, in plain English
A prerelease is a small tournament your local card shop runs before a set goes on sale. You pay for a kit, you open the packs inside it, and you build a 40-card deck out of what you pulled. Everyone is on the same footing because nobody has had time to buy the good cards yet.
It is the cheapest way to try a new set, and it is the friendliest event on the calendar for a first-timer. You keep everything you open. If you have never played in a shop, this is the one to walk into.
Shops set their own times and prices, and kits are limited. Ask your local store in early October rather than late.
The same set as Storm Emeralda
If you have been reading about Storm Emeralda, you have already been reading about this set. Storm Emeralda is the Japanese release, which came out on July 31. Delta Reign is the English version of the same cards.
That matters for two reasons. Japan gets a set roughly three months early, so Japanese prices and tournament results are a preview of what the English release will look like. And a card that is expensive in Japan is usually the card people chase here too.
We covered which cards Japanese collectors went after first. Mega Rayquaza ex ran away with it, and Zinnia, the card many expected to be the second big pull, did not.
What we already knew
| Detail | What has been said |
|---|---|
| Release date | November 6, 2026 |
| Prereleases | October 24 to November 1 |
| Cover card | Mega Rayquaza ex |
| Size | 113 cards in English |
| Also in the set | Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex |
| Preorders | Expected in September, not confirmed |
The preorder line is the one to be careful with. PokeBeach expects preorders to open on PokemonCenter.com in September, about a month ahead of release, based on how the last two sets went. That is a reasonable guess from a reliable source. It is not an announcement, and nothing about it is official yet.
What to do about it
If you want sealed product at the official price, the Pokemon Center listing is the one to watch in September. Those listings sell out fast and restocks are not guaranteed.
If you want one specific card, wait. Prices on a new set are at their highest in the first week, when supply is thinnest and attention is at its peak. The card you want in November is usually cheaper in January.
And if you just want to play with the new cards, the prerelease is in October, not November. That is three weeks of a head start for the price of one kit.
